Last time I checked, 260 was more than 230. And we were comparing the Cobalt to the Neon. Not the Caliber.

But they still run close times & also he has a supercharged Cobalt & not a turbo so hp is like 205 & turbos put down 230-240 to the wheels same as the neons

Can't forget all the goodies that the LNF Cobalt comes with, launch control etc

I have three friends with Neons, they're nice for sure, I'm just more of a Chevy guy. In a straight line they're definitely faster than a SC/SS but they handle poorly and the build quality is awful, my friend just blew up his turbo @26,000 miles

And the caliber has more horsepower than a neon but they're normally slower in the 1/4th because they're so much heavier, not to mention still much more expensive given how recently they were produced

Edit: Also, calibers don't put down 300+ to the wheels, they have 285 crank horsepower

That and the Calibers literally fall apart as you drive them. Probably one of if not THE worst car Crapsler, I mean Chrysler has put out.

Here's some info I found on the Caliber.

It features a 2.4*L DOHC 16V turbocharged I4 with dual variable valve timing (DVVT). It produces 285*hp (213*kW) at 6,400*rpm, and 265*lb·ft (359*N·m) of torque at 5,600*rpm using the Mitsubishi TD04HL4S-20 turbo. Edmunds had tested one on a chassis dynamometer and obtained 281*hp (210*kW) and 261*lb·ft (354*N·m) of torque at the wheels.
And that's only the SRT4. The others make less than 200 hp.

And in my personal experience, Chrysler's fit and finish has been very cheap and poorly designed for decades.

This MasterDebating can go on 4-ever ~> 4-Sure, but I think what is most important is that Member: OneSlowMonte
is happy with his purchase

I think his User Name should be Changed to "OneFast S.S."

I know that I'd rather have the S.S. over the Neon SRT, but everyone is still `free to choose what they like/want & purchase (if they have the $'s)...
Peace `Out from `Space

p.s. Wish OneFast S.S. safe/happy/fast trouble`free miles.

The colbalt looks like a nice little car. The SS is the way to go for sure. I do not like the spoiler on them tho I would take it off if i owned one. Same thing with the neon. I just dont like the big wing look i guess

I did not like the wing for the longest time either but about a year ago it started to grow on me, now I enjoy it
