Angry My monte pretty much saved my life last night

so i was on my home from my horseback riding lesson, i see some white lights, didnt think to much of it, i was going around a slight curve and just thought it was an oncoming car, didnt think to much of it. as i get closer i kinda got that feeling something was not quite right so i slow down a bit ( still going 90 km/h but i was at 110) and it turns out some a$$ is backing up down the side of the highway.. course i came up on the truck pretty fricken quickly... he didnt have any 4-ways on NOTHING didnt even have foot on break till i was right there.. so as im watching that i dont smoke this stupid truck.. there is a big a$$ dresser sitting on the highway RIGHT in front of me, i swear to god it was so close. if the monte didnt have as quick responding, tight steering i would have smoked the dresser, it probably woulda slid up the hood, through the windshield and right into me... i was so close to it that i could see it had 5 drawers, it was a dark brown, had 2 ***** on each drawer. i just managed to get the monte safely around it and back into my lane, I was so happy i had my car last night just for that i love her even more.. i thought about stopping and seeing what the hell was going on but i was so angry i figured i would punched the guy or lost it on him for almost killing me.. the only qustion i have for him was "WHY WERENT YOUR 4-WAYS ON TO GIVE PEOPLE A HEADS UP THAT SOMETHING WAS GOING ON!!!???

Well, it's hard to sya if it would have killed you... could have slid right over the windshield even, could have been knocked to the side.. all kinds of possibilites. The car at least saved itself and kept you safe while it did it. All the more reason to drive a Monte Carlo! I notice you have a 5th gen... so it's at leats 10 years old with a lot of miles probably? Sounds like it still has some moves though!

Glad you missed the dresser, and the truck! I'd love to add a 5th gen to my fleet someday, preferably a '98 or '99 Z/34, but who knows if that will every happen.
