Idk what it is about Pontiac but they just seem like that have that attachment to them. They're comfortable, sporty, fun to drive, and they actually hold their value believe it or not

Well she's back at home today, brother dropped her off this afternoon at work and immediately our mechanics jumped on it and had in done in no time. Shifts 1000x smoother and has alot more pickup it feels like.
We found out it had a 3800 II N/A transmission in it and that's why it went kaboom

Thanks! Increase in fuel economy (26.5mpg), much more pick up, and it shifts on time instead of early now. Also got my keyless entry in the mail from an Ebay seller who sells remotes CHEAP. Bought mine for $20 brand new and works like a charm.

I thought the 3800 na and the 3800 sc trans were the same? why would you have a sc with the na trans? was there an engine swap, for it to be different? Just wondering what's going on there....

Interesting, sounds like this was NOT the first time this car had a trans issue. At least you have the right stuff in it now
