Sorry to hear about that. It's never fun when something like this happens. However, if you're planning on modifying your GTP, now would be a great time to get a built tranny that can handle power.

You should check out www.tripleedgeperformance.com. He does the best work on our tranny's.

Went outside moments ago and tried to put it in gear and it DID! However a very awful sound is coming from it now.

When you have it rebuilt have it over done an don't skimp on good parts.The stronger the better

Sorry to read about your return to a GM not going smoothly right now. If that was the original transmissions, it lived a good long life.
