I'm back from NJ. My Father's service and funeral were nice. When the soldier was playing taps a jet flew over the chapel (my Dad was 101st Airborne). Anyway just wanted to share a pic of the presentation of his flag to my nephew (his first born Grandchild). The elderly lady next to my Nephew is my Dad's 98 year old Mother. We decided to document it for my sister's kids since they are so young now. I am also in the middle of moving from one house to another and need to be done by this weekend and of course it is snowing.

The difficult time when a loved one is lost, is later remembered by all the great things that were accomplished.
The friends and relatives that person once touched and the stories they tell.
By this you know that he was a loved and Honored person!!
My condolences on your loss.
I lost my Father on October 23rd, 2014 he had not known me for several years. He was 95, most of the people who would have came to pay respects, he outlived.
The great things were to hear the stories that his friends told about him. Some great things he did I never knew about until then.

Nice service Ms. Lisa! My father was retired Army Lt.Col., at his graveside service the military did the gun salute and passed the flag to my Mom. I was ok til they did the gun salute, after that I just lost it! My Dad was 5'4" 27 years army,(counting reserve) and was the second biggest man to ever walk this planet! I miss him dearly as I'm sure do you! enjoy and cherish his memories and we thank him for his service.
