i just moved in my dorm room at UMASS Lowell and lola is parked in the school parking garage any warnings or things i should do to protect her

 

my advice, keep any electronics you may have hidden. Dont advertise that you have any expensive or valuable stereo equipment that someone might want. Common sense really. Otherwise i dont think anyone has a reason to bother an old 5th gen

Just keep it clean, and try to park it in places that you think are safer.

When you get to know people, see if there are fellow car guys. If you all park in relatively the same parking spot everyday, ask to park near them so no one dings each others cars.

In the parking garage at work, I have that deal worked out with 2 guys who drive BMWs lol

They park extra close to my passenger door because they know I won't open it and I know they won't hit my car. It's win win

 

hopefully the people in the F-SAE club will be car guys I mean why else would they be a club that builds an F1 Go Kart

yeah lmao thats the plan i want to go into the automotive design field granted its a 2 year process and then you go to Detroit to compete against other schools best lap time fuel efficiency etc etc to win not just about going fast if i get to drive last years kart ill try to get pics they still have it on campus

In college the Akron police department would park around (and in) one of our garages. So I'd always be parked between 4 or 5 cop cars, and cops were always walking around getting in and out of there cars, so I figured I was pretty safe!

Summit County Court was right down the street, too, so sheriffs and cops from other cities were always driving by.

 

well the police department is only a few blocks away and the campus police are right next to all the FSAE stuff and all the engineering buildings
