MY PHONE JUST DIED!!!!
I feel much better now.
So now i had to go to WallyWorld and get me a PrePaid phone and use my sim card out of my phone until Dec when i can get a new one at a great price.
Question.
Does anyone here or someone that you might know, know how to unlock the phone, From a prepaid to a full-blown phone?
I did some searching and cant seem to get a straight forward answer.
I need some help here guys.
I guess it would help if i mentioned that its from T-Mobile.

hrmmm. what kind of phone is the new one? i used to have a pre-paid t-mobile account and my friend gave me one of her old cingular phones, it was an LG made specifically for cingular. my card worked in it but i couldn't use the phone's features since it was designed for a different carrier. my only other professional advice would be to go to a t-mobile store or you could buy my iphone that i'm trying to sell lol

ah. prepaid really isn't all that bad. i used one for like 3 years before i broke down and got a regular cell plan. it usually cost me between $30-50 a month for minutes. i don't use the phone so much for phone calls so much as texting and internet, and the internet was the reason i got a regular cell plan. email and all that. it's more than twice as expensive but very handy when i can basically work from the road when we're traveling.

I've done this before. I had cingular/at&t at the time (now it's just at&t)
I got myself a $10 phone, because i had 2 months left on my contract before I was getting new phones. Yeah the phones really can't do much, they aren't meant to.
If you have to wait until december... You may wanna see what you can work out with them, that's a long time not to have a good phone. Or start taking features off your plan so your bill is lower.
