Default Motor cover ?

I've been thinking of painting my engine cover. Maybe gloss Black with the writing in Victory Red. But what kind of paint will hold up to the heat under the hood. Has anyone painted their's ?? Can you post a picture of it ? I also thought about getting it rapped. Like you see on some car bodys. IDEA"S ???

Just try some engine enamel or high temp paint, even that might not be necessary because that part of the engine is not getting too hot, but better safe than sorry after all the work.

Here's my simple one.

Use any type of paint. The engine cover doesn't get too hot.

Just remember to get the same brand paint as clear.

Looks nice Blazed!!

I saw a guy selling a sweet one on ClubGP that if I was in the market for one, I thought it would look awesome on my Monte. But for the money he wants, I have other things WAY ahead of a engine cover.... Don't get me wrong, for how it looks, I think he is asking a really good price, just I have other wants ahead of such a thing.

ClubGP Message Forum troubleshooting

Only thing I would want different is the lettering to be in red....

like it !! I was going for clean and simple with mine my engine bay is clean and not overstated (blinged out ) like the car
may repaint took a lot of time and I sanded all the slight texture off so it looks like black glass . I will defiantly post pictures this weekend on 2.0.
