Good morning guys.

Starting to nail down details for Michigan's Fall Meet > we have a date of October 6th and the location TBD soon. We'll be incorporating a cruise to a cider mill. Will we see any of you there this year?

Well I was able to get to the Annual Crusie night event in Kearney,NE. They usually have over 400 cars at this show an shine.

I took some pictures of the favorite ones.

Can you spot the 55 Chevy with right hand drive?

I only found 1 Monte Carlo this one was a 1970.

I didn't bring my Monte to this one my battery was bad so I replaced it. They had a special on them at Menards so I got a new A C Delco for around 95.00 plus I get an 11% rebate back.

Now I am good to go again.

Good afternoon all.

The wife and I took the puppy out on the boat after work last night to relax for a few hours. The lake and launch was a little busier than I was expecting for a Wednesday, probably the nice weather. It was sunny and in the mid-80s with a calm breeze, perfect.

That Menards I tell ya, my favorite place ever since we renovated home #1 2.5 years ago and are now renovating home #2. Extent of work in home#2 is not AS much as home #1 but home #2 is twice as big as home #1.

By the way, I like that first gen Monte with those '70-72 SS Camaro/Chevelle' wheels.

I went in for an interview with them back in 2007 after the crash and with all of my experience the Mgr. was frothing over the idea I might work for them. Then he told me what the compensation was, and the commission, I was not impressed, I said for 30 years in the Lumber/building/construction business, so he called and they went up an additional .15cents. I told them I would get back to them. I know now I forgot to call them back. Lol But when you know what you want and can figure it out thats the place to be.

Good morning guys. In the high 50s this morning with a chance of a few AM scattered showers, then partly cloudy the rest of the day.

Got the Car Capital Auto Show in Lansing, MI tomorrow! I'm a 2-time class winner there so we'll see what's in store this year. Always tough competition. Great show though, usually around 400 vehicles in an awesome setting right Downtown in front of the State Capitol. Looks like our Club is expecting at least 7 Montes. Weather looks like it's going to be perfect too - mostly sunny, high of 78 degrees.

One of Northern Michigan's premier events, the Au Sable River Canoe Marathon, is tomorrow too. 88 entries this year. 120 miles long. Starts at 9pm tomorrow and goes into Sunday morning. Possibly the oldest marathon canoe race in the U.S. and the longest non-stop canoe-only race in North America. At least one radio station that covers that area broadcasts the race live.

Question

Good morning all! Kind of upset with this new posting tool they have applied to the system.
Right in the middle of setting up my voting for the photo contest and I thought I had a problem with my computer.
Turns out they changed the format for posting.
Warnings would be good prior to changes?
Kinda like windows 10 when it first came out it sucked. They took a program and added more steps to achieve a project than the previous version had. Then said this is wonderful.

Anyway you will find out when you use it. It is simpler however I was used to the other way and had somewhat conquered the issues.
Moving on.............. Jeffs Rear Wheel Drive Monte SS is out cruising and that is so kool. He posted a photo for us to see. Check it out in the photo contest post for July. I thought it need something so I put some ground effects on it.
