Someone (don't know who) at work has a white 6th gen LS. And one of the janitors has a grey 4th gen with a complete custom dual exhaust. Sounds bad a$$ when leaving the parking lot.

This past summer and fall I saw a number of Jeff Gordon editions, Intimidator editions, a 2002 Dale Sr edition, two other Dale Jr editions,a yellowPaceCar, a red PaceCar, a black 03 SSwith the high sport checker flags and custom installed #20 "Smoke" decals.I got a pic. I'll post it since we all love pics here. lol.

I also see a ton of 4th gens, and a fair number of 5th gens. Not too many first to third gens around here anymore.

Edit:
I forgot to mention that this car in the picture also has silver rally stripes to match the ground effects. And the rims are actually chrome.

Just today i was thinking of the same things. I see a lot more montes on the street now which is a good thing I think. Especially on the the highway. I love to ride next to one if I see one. Something about people seeing two or more great looking montes together just seems unique to see.

Although I think I get carried away since every time I'm at a parking lot I go Monte hunting to try to get next to one. Also pointing out to my wife every monte I see, although she likes the monte too and point them out too.

What can I say...I love Monte Carlos.

It may sound weird, but I would rather not see any Monte Carlos. Personally I would like to have the only one on the road.

I will tell you though, the marroon color on the 06-07 SS is unreal looking in the sun. Great color!
I'm kinda the same way, I want to be different, but then mine is a little different than most around here (there is another DE Edition here, but I haven't seen it in a few months).
There's a marroon one that sets up at Pep Boys (must bne an employee) all the time. It is NIIIIICE.

I don't know, I've ALWAYS noticed Montes. I used to, and still do, drive everyone crazy with "there's a Monte", LOL.
There are quite a few 5th gens here, but I've seeing more and more 6th and 7th gens lately.

I always see 6th gen Montes. My step brother had a 5th generation with 18 inch Lexani wheels. Not my thing, but it was alright. My cousin had an SS Supercharged Monte, but traded it to his mom for a Cavalier after having a kid because he could not afford it. I have only seen a good two handfuls of 7th (or 6.5 gen) Monte Carlos. Like I said, I would rather not see any. Do not get me wrong, I enjoy seeing them, I would just rather be different and have a rare car. I think the 7th gen SS is pretty rare though considering the sales numbers.

I like seeing other Montes on the road. For one, I'm tired of seeing all the retro Stangs that haunt my area.

I too go Monte hunting in a parking lot. If possible I'll park next to one.

My trip to the doctor office yesterday I noticed a white '06/07 Monte with race inspired rear spoiler setting at a post office branch in north Dayton. I was on I-75 and just happened to look over at the right time I guess?
