I agree it is nice to see the blog busy and the forum active, we seem to be getting new members all the time, but sadly not all of them continue to post after their first "welcome" post in the new member area, but hopefully a few decide to stick around and contribute

Hi Barbara, I'm happy that you enjoyed. It's good that you don't burn easy...The sun can cause a lot of damage to the skin. I see so many looking like beets when they are on the beaches...There's a price to pay for abuse...

The Bum's & I have never watched that much T.V. during our life (I guess we like being outdoors to much), but I think I would enjoy watching a talent show like that. I thought they both were very good...I didn't even know who those judges were ? I admit that I'm out of touch on many things. I also feel like a alien when I'm out with friends & they start talking about this show & that show & I have no idea what they are talking about (?)...

I'll just wait until I retire & then I will just sit in front of a TV (LOL) & watch everything I've missed...

OK, whose next to post ? Ken, it's your turn ? or is it you reading this ? We will just sit here & wait to see who makes the next post ?

I don't watch the voice very often, odd as I am a musician but I just find in a lot of cases it becomes a popularity contest and sometimes the people with the talent don't make it as far as they should have, as they are given a song that is just out of the reach and I wonder if it's done on purpose (yup conspiracy theory time lol) I used to love american idol when Simon was a judge though but even now I don't watch it that much.

I prefer escaping into movies over television most days

 

I agree with Ken about the popularity contest. I think no one should be able to tell their life story until it is like the final 5. just so no one can get sympathy votes!!! LOL
The voice is really the only thing I watch on tv except the news...most of the time it is on the music channels.

 

The walking dead and street outlaws. 2 shows I watch religiously. Other than that whatever is on the velocity channel.
