Mornin' folks!
...or evenin' sorta. Time to start another blog thread anyways.
So, the last 2 days I started this thread talkin' 'bout how I was about to have a baby...
It's a girl!!!
On Sunday June 8th, 2014 @ 6:04pm we welcomed Kimberlee Daytona Nichol into the world. She was a 7 lb 11 oz. breach baby, so labor was a little complicated and drawn out. Mommy did a great job and got 'er done without a C-section.
Kimber is kinda used to being folded in half, coming out bum first
I'll spare you anymore photos (and especially the video!).
In spite how beautiful she is, there are some complications. Kimber has some minor respiratory problems and is stuck a the hospital for now, and Mommy's there overnight too. The sad part is they pulled little Kimber away so quick that Mommy hasn't had a chance to hold or kiss her yet - I got a little more time with baby than Mommy did.
But I had to get home to announce her. And I totally missed the NASCAR race today. I just got home. I posted this morning on my way out the door this morning and again as soon as I got home. I got the race PVR'd up, but my wife found out the outcome on Facebook in the hospital and I think I know what that might mean. I can't watch the race with her knowing that she knows the outcome. And I have to avoid reading the forum right now too. I gonna find out how this race went the right way. It involves a beer on the first lap and it starts right now!

wow, Brent, congrats man very good looking kiddo......I didn't see the race but I know who won. I hope mom and baby are doing OK......I have 2 more buds to drink and they're both for your good news.....cheers.

I just finished watching the racing!!!!! I knew it in my heart, but it was great to watch and exciting enough to suspend all disbelief...
