Morning all! Last day of my four day weekend. It feels good to have slept in for awhile. But now I have to work straight through this next weekend. Oh well, you win some you lose some.

Afternoon all. I haven't been on here much. I've mostly been on the forum's FB site. I had a rough night last night on the way to work. I drifted off the road and into a snow bank. Ended up rolling the thing on it's side. Luckily, it bounced back onto the wheels and I was able to make it on time. Still sucks though.

I'm back!!!!!

Just picked up my laptop from the Computer shop...

Turns out it had the solder come loose from the GPU?
and it couldnt be resoldered or replaced.... Fortunately..He had my very same machine and it needed a screen so we did a swp deal and added my hard drive and I'm back in business!

Sorry about the drift issue, sounds like all and all, you're OK and the truck looks like it took minimal damage for rolling on it's side.
Hopefully no other issues then a big dent.

 

Evening all, Dave its work, nothing to report really. Still waiting for someone in the home office to do something so I can access my next step in training on the computer. Pushing close to a month. Its funny, all the higher ups in the meeting I went to in November push you, and say its self driven and so on. Yet now I'm stuck unable to move on because someone else isn't doing what they're supposed it. Quite frustrating and discouraging.
