Evening all. Been sick the last three days with the flu (yes i had the flu shot whats up with this?) First time on-line in three days or so. Hoping I can keep up with the wife tonight, sill feel like a Vega running on 3 cylinders

Good afternoon from Sunny Surprise , Arizona My wife & I just got back from food shopping. man that place is a nut house today .. Just sitting down to lunch at 4 pm Having a ham & cheese on rye with some deli pickles and a COLD Arizona ice tea. Yup No drinking for this guy tonight. Seen too many things happen to good people over it. Got the car washed and its looking good. About time for her to be cleaned inside & out. Maybe tomorrow morning after breakfast. .. Had my daughter on Skype and showed her our place in the Sun. Not the warmest day here today. But in the Sun its feels great. T shirt weather for a little while. But only in the Sun.Might go over a see a friend of mine & his wife for a few mins then back here before the NUTS come out!!! Just wanted to check in and say HEY to all my friends out there. Gotta run. Happy New Year to all of you

 

Evening everyone. I got the night off from work tonight. So I get to spend a nice quiet NYE at home this year. Which is a change for me.

Tonight I'm closing the proverbial curtain on a year filled with challenges. And hoping for the best in 2013. And wishing all the best for a great 2013 to everyone!

 

How many members are lurking out there hoping to make the first post of 2013 at the stroke of the new year?

 

Its getting close and I really feel the absence, as does my wife. My entire life - her entire lifetime. Dick Clark was New Year Eve to me and we really really miss him. I'm watching on tv and I don't even know who this Anderson Cooper guy is. He's got hair like me...

 

 

It had not occurred to me, but yet here I lurk as a contender....
