Afternoon guys. Just poking around a little bit. Still at home, been waiting on them to route my partner back this way. This is a little ridiculous. I was shooting to be back on the truck last Thursday, and it kind of ruins my plans for my next to bits of home time if I'm going to time it for when my dad is in the area. I either have to spend almost 2 months gone from home or do two very short stints where I won't really be able to make up for essentially missing out on a paycheck from sitting here this extra time.

We have had quite a bit of ups and downs at vacation so far. However the kids have been real troopers! We hit both of or favorite vacation restaurants today and the food was topnotch as usual. The Captain's Table in Buxton has the freshest and best cooked seafood on the island. Litteraly from the boats to the docks to the kitchen. It is well prepared and seasoned to perfection.

The Gingerbread House has "The" best pizza on Hatteras Island for sure!

The beaches have been good and the beer is cold! See yall tomorrow!
