Good evening all. I bought the '69 Plymouth Satellite. All I have to say is OMG. This is basically the kind of car I've wanted since before I was old enough to drive!!! Everyone's head jerks around when you drive by. Of course it looks and sounds like a '69 1/2 440 six pak Roadrunner. I'm sure that helps. It has no a/c, no power steering and only an AM radio, but it has to be the most fun car I've ever had to drive. I'm so glad I didn't go after a new Hemi Challenger for 3 to 4 times the money like I thought about.

Thanks everyone. I do feel a little guilty or selfish for splurging like this on myself, but I really needed a pick me up. I had a triple black '73 Charger once, but I was never a fan of the looks of them like I am the '68-'70 Mopar B-bodies. I never named any of my cars before, but I have a feeling this one will end up being named after my wife.

Congrats Kerry. Of course you know we need a complete thread with pics and possibly a video walk around.
Glad to see everyone is doing good. Alot of members have been buying different cars lately. I think my wife wants to get another car soon too but i don't think it will be for a few months and it will be a cheap and hopefully fuel efficient little car

I'll see what I can do about a dedicated thread with pics. Realistically, the car is a 10 footer, but the flaws don't really show in the pics. It's not a rust bucket though. I just don't have to be afraid to drive it, although I'll be avoiding large parking lots like the plague.
