Evening MCF, I have an issue with my cig lighter/acc socket/port. I thought it was my tire compressor that quit working but now I'm thinking it's the socket itself. I tried my Garmin GPS and both the front and the rear outlets don't work. Anyone know where the fuse is, I'm guessing it's on the drivers side panel, I just figured I'd ask here first......Thanks.
I need my Garmin because I have to drive into the city tomorrow and I like using it. It's not a long drive, but I'm the worlds worst driver when it comes to finding places......

Hi `Chris,
Great to see you online & sorry to read that you are having a problem with your lighter.
Interior Fuse Box Location: 2006-2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo - 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LT 3.9L V6
Click above link > I hope it helps
The Cigarette lighter fuse is the ten amp fuse in the fuse panel on the passenger side kick panel. It is named the aux fuse.
A diagram is also in your owner's manual `if you still have it.
Good luck on the fix
Hope we see U again soon.
Wish you & Member's a great `eve > EnJoy <

You're Welcome `Chris,
Once you take off the fuse cover > Just check for AUX fuse
(It should be printed on panel or on unit) Have a good flashlight & check aux fuse to see `if the internal wire is broken, if it is replace with a new 10 amp fuse...If it blows again, then you have a short somewhere...Let's hope it's just a fuse. > GOOD LUCK <

20a fuse did it, sweet. I also ran to the auto store and picked up a variety pack of fuses just in case. also got a quart of oil.......But the fuse seemed to fix it for now. THANKS Space........
Good evening all. Scored me some U2 tickets for the Chicago show at the end of June. Also picked up my new glasses today - still trying to get used to the no-line bi-focals GASP! LOL!
