First few night shifts over Christmas break it was -20 with about 30mph winds, that was not fun.


It's actually mid 30s, hitting the 40s this weekend, warmest weather I've had in over a month, streets are drying up after being slush for the last week.

 

Yep here in the burbs of Chicago it has been brutally cold 21 below zero with a windchill of around -30 to -40 below. They cancelled schools today, but I still had to go to work . I am so lucky that I have my Mini in the garage because I probably would have had a problem today. My finacee’s winter beater had a problem and I had to give him my car (god forbid that he drive his Mini Cooper in the winter [:@]) - he dropped me off at work because it is on the way to his work. I am stranded at work and I am going though separation anxiety for my car.

 

even NC is cold today.. it's 21* degrees with a wind chill of 10*... it won't be back into the 40's here until hte middle of next week.

move down to NC with me RJ... we'll go wood drifting together

 

yeah here in st. paul it isn't much better. been at least -25 every daywith about a -45 windchill all week when i'm driving into work. it even makes my 07 start pretty hard since it sits outside. horrible for gas mileage too!

i really don't mind it too much since i don't have to work in it at all. i love winter mainly cuz of the snow, but i could do without these bitter cold temps. if it stayed 15-20 all winter that would be great! ...until march/april, then it better warm up, cuzi'll be ready for spring by then!

gotta love MN! if you don't like the weather, just wait a day or so and it will change

 

Same here drew. It was -28 yesterday with wind chills up to -45. They canceled school and I got to browse the forums all day

Friday I had a dentist appointment for 9:00am. The outside temp reading on the display inside the Monte read -21 degrees.
Last night going to work was a little warmer. Temp read -17 while sitting in the driveway. As soon asI backed out, onto the street, it went to -18.
I had to take a cell phone pic before leaving.

Yah its freezing. I thought it was going to rain earlier today, but now its freaking snowing here in missouri. BRr
