Morning all. Just stopping in to say HI, and letting everyone know I'm STILL around. Been REAL busy lately, trying to buy a new house. We found one. Not just a house, but a farm. It had a vegetable stand out front for years. House w/ a small attached 2 car garage, 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, full basement, a yard barn, and a 24 x 40 pole barn, all on 7 acres, with 6 acres fenced in for livestock. It has about 20 fruit trees and 8 grape vines. Rolling land. It's 350 x 900 ft deep, and connects in the back to a LARGE playground that the neighbors have (ATV's). I'll post some pics soon. We made an offer and are now waiting for the counter offer, to counter the counter, and, well you understand the process. Hopefully we are the proud owners of TWO house payments by the end of this weekend! WOOO-HOOO!!!

Space i'll be partying it up tonight, got half a bottle of Captain Morgan nd a bottle of Jack daniels waiting for me, havin people over hopefully if i can get it lit (it's been raining the past 2 days) have a fire

Lesson for Today (or perhaps yesterday, depending on your point of view) - Even though you may wear prescription glasses, use SAFETY glasses when grinding and drilling.....
Last night I was working on my Throttle Body project and using the Dremel to continue some shaping of it. Well, about an hour after I cleaned up, I had a sharp pain in my eye. The wife could not see anything, I tried flushing it out and still no change. I thought all the flushing (and bad idea of rubbing)just irritated it. Went to bed, woke up still sore. I checked into the ER before heading into work. OH yeah, the doc found a piece of metal. OH I am MUCH better now.
Moral of the story, SAFETY GLASSES. I have them, I should use them!!

So... how did the throttle body project workout? I keep getting on to my co worker for not wearing his safety glasses, I even went out and bought him some that fit over the prescription ones.
Im doing good... I have a bit of thinking I've been doing, when I have more time, ill post it in another thread... right now, im just bouncing ideas off people that have no clue what im talking about.

It's looking GREAT (especially without crud in my eye
My old prescription glasses were so big, they were almost equal to safety glasses. I keep forgetting that what I wear NOW is nothing like those.
This lesson was a rather minor as far as what happened, but a big lesson none the less. I will be using the safety glasses I have on this stuff.
