Hi everyone! Just got back from my car show a couple of hours ago. Precious took 1st place in the 2000 & up class. I beat a brand new 2010 Ford Mustang GT vert and a 2008 Ford Mustang Bullit edition. We had this crazy rain storm appear out of nowhere and it hit Wacuonda dead on. I just got home in time. I was going 40mph down my street to get Precious into the garage before the skys opened up LOL! Thank goodness I didn't park Silver in the garage or Precious would have gotten soaked.

 

Congrats on the win Amy. It just proves that you dont need to have a new car to win 1st place. WTG.

we had a fun time partying last night, celebrating our friends' wedding and of course tony's win. there were fireworks over the lake and tons of food.

today we are taking it easy, it is my bf's birthday and we slept in and he wants to do nothing. so that's what we're doing! i'll be catching up on the laundry i've been slacking on all week. we are supposed to go to his parents' later on with his kids for cake & presents. mmmm...cake!! have a good day everyone!

So i got through the first chapter in deadspace. Wow, creepy as hell.

 

Thanks everyone. Keeping a clean car pays off. Also another surprise is that I was able to park my car inside the main building at the Lake County Fair Grounds! No hot sun and inside was even a little air conditioned. I think their main goal is to get all of the judged cars inside so it's easier for the judges to find the cars. The fair grounds moved from it's original location to it's present location and this was the first year of holding events there. There still are a few bugs to work out but definitely by next year everything should be worked out. There is one more car show in September that I will be planning on attending.

Congrats on beating the Mustangs especially. I thnk most `stangs are over rated.

Around here, a lot of late model mustang owners seem to think all they have to do to win a show, is show up. Too many of them, and most of them make no effort at all.

I like to see when deserving people like you win the shows. The effort and care you put into it really shows!
