Kind of house bound again, we got about 4" of Snow last night. Will this wicked weather ever go away???
Anybody concerned about radiation levels in their rain water or snow?? Kind of creepy, fighting an unseen force.

It's been a year of Monte Carlo ownership for me - it's looking like a good experience that I hope to continue -

40,000 miles in the last 12 months. DIC states average speed 42 mph, average MPG 27.5

Repairs & Maintenance:
8 Oil changes
1 set of tires to replace the originals that had 55,000 on them
1 set of alloy rims to get the car a unique look. It now looks a lot different than the hundreds of rental Impalas around here.
1 Transmission service and cooler pipe replacement (I high centered on a bump stop and tweaked the pipe, resulting in a leak)
1 Coolant flush.
1 Air cleaner filter.
1 Cabin filter.
4 Sylvania H11ST Silver Star head light bulbs. I liked the light output but have grown tired of replacements at 8 months or less.
Several taillight wing nuts that were missing thanks to Silverbullit.

So reliable its almost boring. Would definitely replace it with same car or better if I had to.

 

Just checkin in worked hard on home improvement all day. Hope to finish up in a few days. Off to work for the night.

Went to a Connecticut Whale vs Portland Pirates hockey game today. It was a good time. Haven't been to a hockey game in quite some time. Whale won 4-2.

Night all, went to a dinner party, good times. I start back student teaching tomorrow. Two weeks at the grade school, almost done with this project.
