The end of another week. The temps around here went into the deep freeze. No new snow today, just really fricken cold.

JJ, that sucks man. What's the deal with putting an ad for one job, then changing it when you show up for the interview? If they're like that during the hiring process, I can imagine what they'd be like once you're working for them. "Did we say you were making $15 an hour? No, you're making $7 an hour."

Todd, great to see the drywall installed. The house is really getting there.

Greg, have fun on monday man! Are you going to picture anything in your mind while you're shooting?

Hi Everyone!

I can't believe how cold it is for some of you. Its been in the upper 60's, we've even hit 70 a couple days for the last week. And the 10 day shows more of the same. Two weeks ago it was freezing (literally at night we were hitting 29-32 degrees, thats cold for California). Now its like spring weather.

I hope you all have a good weekend, i'll be working on the house some more.

 

Good evening to all! Well, engine and heads are as clean as they are going to get. As soon as I start painting stuff tomorrow I'll start taking pics. The trans needs to be taken apart still but by Sunday I hope to have it clean and almost put together. I have to hurry since I'm moving Feb 1st.

Greg, remember to squeeze the trigger and hold your breath after 1/3 exhalation. I love the M-16 but I'm starting to like the 30-06!

JJ, sorry to hear about the interview switcheroo. Have faith and stay strong! Things will turn around for you soon.

Todd, is the house like in the woods? Is that the living room or the kitchen? I hope the guy does the job right!

 

I have about 3 acres outside of our little town. It is only 700 square feet and is an open studio style. I will do a video tour once I get closer.

Nope, not yet. Too cold! I'm going to give it a go tomorrow and hopefully start cleaning and disassembling it. I pick the heads tomorrow too so they'll be together by Sunday, as well as the front cover/oil pump/cam bearings and a few other things. I need a clone! (one that's healthy, not like me lol)
