Happy B day Rick! I helped my Fiance change the water pump on his 72 Monte today - trying to coax him into helping me install my new exhaust on my 05 LOL!!!

Not yet, I want to get the cat back installed 1st because when I get the U-Bend delete welded in they might have to chop off the flange. I want to pay as little for labor as possible. I don't want to pay labor for a simple bolt on.

Oh, after we got done with the 72s water pump/radiator flush, we changed the coolant in Silver. No more DexCool Yay!

I've never had any problems with Dex-Cool. We have it in 3 vehicles, and the service techs I've talked to recommend leaving it in for these late model cars. early on there were problems, but I've never seen any. We have 201K on the 99 Z71, 108K on the Intimidator SS, and 18K on the Solstice GXP. I change it at 100K miles. The truck is due for a COMPLETE fluids change, everything, but the economy has put a damper on that.

I have good feelings about this interview tomorrow morning. Maybe my finances can start to take shape again. Still a HUGE pay cut, but more than double of what unemployment is. Sounds like a ZERO stress job, just challenges.
