Afternoon all. Glad to see everyone is having a good Saturday.
Ryan, yes it is Charles. He has the BIGGEST heart! He got some new clothes today for Christmas, and his G/F got a new pair of gloves. If you remember a while back, I had everyone wish Charles a "Happy Birthday", and I printed out the thread and read all the posts to him.
I never had a brother, and I just had my sister pass. Charles is the closest thing I have to a brother (I'm a LITTLE slow sometimes, too!!!)

Feel bad for all the snowed in East Coasters. It is 45 here today. Ran up to the lake to take the dog for a run and he decided it was so nice he had to go for a swim.

hey everyone, just got back from some last minute christmas shopping, god the roads were getting pretty bad the closer home i got, and the wipers in my dad's van iced up resulting in pretty much 0 visibility. but other than that everything went well, stopped at the milford diner for dinner and had a texas burger... i have to say they make some of the BEST burgers EVER imo. they've got that "flame-broiled" taste, kinda like burger king only a gagillion times better. the texas burger had chedder chease, sauteed onions & bacon or ham on it, and a lil bit of BBQ sauce. you would love it, chris

OH, and i also found a set of seatcovers for my monte... i think they are the same as the ones matt has in his car, the ones i like so much, so im super happy about that

I hope everyone on the east coast stays safe. Not too much going on here - we just got a little snow - about an inch. It was around freezing so it's kinda melting too. It looks like for the next week temps are going to be close to normal for the area. I so want to wash Silver, but we keep getting these little snow showers every couple of days.

i hear ya there, chris. even worse around here are the people who brake all the way down the hills, do a constant 5 MPH and then when they gotta get up the next hill they floor it from about half way up, and loose traction and skid everywhere till they get over the hill... then back to 5 MPH. they suck, caus you cannot get far enough behind em to avoid them sliding into you without stopping in the middle of the road. and that screws ya up to get up the damn hill yourself! we were behind someone like that on the way home, it was nearvewracking to say the least.

So let's see these seat covers Ryan.
Todd, did you go swimming also???
Chris, I had to scrape 2" of my Monte this morning, and it snowed all day. Probably got at least another inch or so on him right now. We've probably had close to 2 ft of snow so far this year. Maybe more. We had a ft on the ground a week ago, several inches today, and, and, and.... OK, maybe closer to 3 ft so far. Lake effect SUX!
And Ryan, I SO appreciate the remembering Charles. He is a GREAT guy, with a HUGE heart. Just a little slow. He lives in an adult foster residence with about 8 total just like him. 2 men & 6 ladies. It's a GREAT group. He's been going to our Church for YEARS. We took him to the 4th of July parade last year, and I couldn't believe how many people went by and said "Hi Charles"!
