It's not a really accurate thing lol. Tripometer / Gallons to fill tank = a better method lol

Jeez, spend one 16* day crawling through a junkyard and i miss out on one of the buseyist days i've seen in months, lol

sooo... good morning to everyone! i had a pretty dang good day yesterday, took the monte down to washington, NJ for the junkyard ( about 80 miles round trip) with a buddie of mine, saw some amazing stuff in said junkyard... including multiple 5th gen monte's, a couple of 6th gen monte's ( one was a REAL bad wreck) and quite a few of the monte's poncho breathrean... like a dozen, at least. there was even a bright red S/C GTP... but the engine & trans were MIA ( i HAD to lift that hood, lol ).

then on the way home, the friend who got me & my other friend into the junkyard gave me a set of slotted mag wheels with a chevy bolt pattern and some old bias plies on 'em. JJ, they would look great on your van, lol and we also got the stainless trim off of those '57 chevy station wagons in that junkyard i went to over the summer. and speaking of the "junk'in" junkyard, i found out the 4'th gen LS monte went for a paltry $200! at least its gonna be refurbished by its new owner and the same guy bought the choo-choo elcomino, along with another for parts, for $850. he drove the choo choo home!

OK, im off to check out the other threds. later everyone!

because your car is too nice to need anything from a junkyard, mike lol.
actually, i did not even walk up to the 5th gen cars to have a look. it was way too damn cold. i only got a look at that s/c gtp 'caus it was directly where we were walking past, instead of 2 or 3 cars in. heck, i even passed by a couple of buicks without looking them over, lol. i woulda been fine with the cold but the junkyard was in a feild on top of a mountian, and it was bitterly windy, so it was a breif trip. but cool just the same hopefully i can drag my dad down there in the spring or next fall for a better look

well, the one 6th gen was probibly an 00 / 01, i think. it was a white LS and was positivly run into the ground, looked like it was used, abused and left to die. dented, dirty, plastic bag taped over the rear 1/4 window, fast food wrapers took over the rear seat, 2 alloy wheels, 1 steelie and the donut spare, which was flat, mismached tires, and parking lot rash galore. it was sad. the wrecked one coulda been an 05, it did not have the side moulding. but it also looked like it had rolled over a couple times, so it coulda flown off.... it had inspection tags for '06, and looked like it coulda been new when it was wrecked.
