nice one JJ
so i figured i would check in & see how everyone is doing, i've been mega busey lately between school & work. yesterday i finally started to really remove all the adheasive tape from the grille opening on the monte from when i took the cheepo plastic thing out after my lil accident.. got the bowtie out too. looks really nice in the rain today, lol. i was just working on sanding the bowtie for paint hopefully i'll get that in paint sometime this week out at school.
lesseee.... the swapmeet on sunday went well, sold some stuff and made some $
then after me & my dad stopped in on a really "nice" 4th gen SS monte that is laying dead near a construction job his company is doing. car looked GREAT from the road. silver with a light blue interior, the factory aluminum wheels, stand up spoiler, it had tinted windows. sweet, right? we talked to the owner, who informed us someone had left a deposit on the car about 2 months ago, and the guy hadent heard from him scince, he wanted $800 for the car, it had a freshly rebuilt 350 SBC with headers, a cam, intake, carb, ect. i was kinda sad the car was sold, but then we walked over near it while the owner went back to mowing his lawn. i noticed a lil rust buble on the passenger wheel lip and ran my finger over it, and a chunk of bondo fell out that was the size of my camara. my dad opened the door and discovered a hole in the drivers side floor pan that i probibly coulda entered the car through. very sad, but damn glad i didint buy it, lol
my new "want it" of the minute we just found out about yesterday: a 1970 ford torino cobra, red w/ black bucket seats, 429 SCJ engine and a 4 speed stick, detroit locker rear. the guy has had it in his garage for the last 25+ years and decided it needs to go. he's asking $4,500 for it. i figure it would be a good car to "flip" for a prophit hopefully gonna go look at it this weekend.

funny you should mention that taz, the kid in my class who helped me get all the adheasive crap off mentioned that the empty opening reminded him of his '91 mustang after he ditched the blue ovel from the opening once i get my bowtie painted up proper it'll be going back into the void. im going for a Z34 look
