Thanks Lisa! I had more of an expressionistic style with lots of color and brush strokes. I don't paint anymore - have no desire to do it anymore.

I don't have any place to paint and we don't have a laundry sink to clean up my brushes. I only painted with oils.

Ah, I work in acrylic. I don't have the patience for oils to dry, plus being a lefty I would make a mess, lol. Nonetheless real nice work anyway!

so, nobody here has had a windshield repaired? I was hoping to get an idea if it worked, let me know, here is the info from safelite...

Windshield Repair

Windshield repair is safe, effective, convenient and takes less than 30 minutes to complete. Safelite's certified repair specialists can repair chips, nicks and cracks up to 6 inches long. A quality windshield repair will restore the structural integrity of the windshield, help prevent the damage from spreading, and make the blemish much less noticeable, without removing and replacing the glass.
An affordable solution

Repairing a windshield is also a good value. If you have comprehensive coverage, and if you choose to have your windshield repaired rather than replaced, most insurance companies will waive your deductible, leaving no costs for you.
Quality service, quality materials

Because quality matters when it comes to windshield repair, Safelite's certified repair specialists complete extensive classroom and hands-on training and use only the highest quality materials. Safelite AutoGlass specialists perform more than 600,000 windshield repairs each year, more than any provider in the business.
All Safelite repairs are backed by a national warranty and are guaranteed to pass lease turn-back and state vehicle inspections.

Chris, I know someone who works in my business complex had theirs done by one of those companies that come out to you. I'm not sure of the name but I think they are national.
