Too bad that Atlanta got more snow than we did heeheehee! We only got a couple of inches and it looks like our neighbor snow blew our driveway. About 20 miles way where I work, got much more snow than at my house. Now I'm wondering if I'm going to have enough snow to go X Country skiing. hmmmm.

 

Made it home. My stepdad is back home and at an AA meeting, which is good. He is supposed to go to 90 meetings in 90 days. The roads were a little slick, but no big deal. My Motorola Droid did fall out of my pocket and break so that sucked.

 

Glad to hear your stepdad is getting the help he needs. Sucks about the phone though Todd. Any kind of replacement warranty or anything?

 

Good to hear that about you dad just keep going 1 day at a time man and be strong for him .

So far we got about 4-5 inches of snow outside. Glad I shovelled earlier. Only have 1.5 to 2 inches to shovel now. But that's something for tomorrow morning. Glad I don't have to go to work tonight.

No warranty on the phone, and i can't get an upgrade until July. I bought a Motorola Droid X on ebay for 275.00, they wanted 550.00 at the local store. This one is used, but in good working order and I don't have to extend the contract so that is good.

On a fun note we just celebrated christmas so that was fun.

IT'S STORY TIME!!!!

beware it's going to be a novel....

ok like i said erlier today and i'll go into greater detail, last thurs one of the people from the office(we are HQ) came down and asked one of the girls who work in the warehouse to get some paper work packaged up and sent out Next Day Air UPS so she packaged the stuff up and brought it to the Confirmer(girl who does the invoicing and shiping) and tells her it needs to go out today says nothing about NDA so she shipped them out like usual then today she was confronted why they didn't go NDA so they figure out that mary(one who package it up) didn't tell Amanda(confirmer) that they need to go NDA the Mary tries to pull Chelsea into it(team lead) saying that chelsea said that they wern't that important and just ship them however, if i remember right i'm pritty sure chelsea left early that day, so there is the drama with that

Then today as many of you have read i am training a new girl who has aspergers to do what i do, so the part timer that was here all last week is back in school so he is just in the pm, this girl is in the am, and the only other persin doing what i do is the driver, the new girl and myself,
i asked everyone to help me keep an eye out and let me know if there is a problem with somthing and i'll talk to her about it and fix it, so i cought a few things, not wrapping glass, bottls of liquids upside down in a box ect, had her fix them, 10:00 comes around i go on break, come back i check a few carts and Label a item as cold with a peice of paper under neath it (this is only a 2 item order) 1cold 1 not
so she packs it and i see her scurry off real quick and i notice her grab somthing out of a box,(at this point i go o great what is she doin) so i watch her, she goes into our bulk are and starts bouncing a ball around Playing then i come to realize the box she pulled it out of a box was one with pill bottles in it not a ball(it's a vet supply company) so i start to wonder where it came from, so i go inform my manager he goes and talks to her, since i didn't know how to approach this one he talks to her she comes back up packs a few order which i had to stop her and make her focus on what she was doing becuase she was messing up orders and putting the wrong paper work with the wrong items... then she scuries off to the back again so i kind of watch her she's playing with ball again, my teamlead notices it and talks to her letting her know it's not time to play it's time to work, my teamlead walks away we all get back to work (she hid the ball bot times when my manager and teamlead botg went back there, then i notice it again, but was in the middle of doing a few spot checks on her boxes... remember the one i mention well guess what the cold product just trown in the box, the warm product is in the bag with the ice, my cobfirmer was next to me at the time and goes really, she disiapears and next thing i know my manager is comming up with her(new gal) to show her what was wrong and we need to fix it, o and he made her bring the ball and put it in the correct spot abd said no more!

i don't know just thanks for letting me vent alittle bit guys.... it's been a long day
