Todd, if the engine. Is a 350, the starter is typically too close to the manifold and may overheat or wear out faster, you can actually go into auto parts stores and purchase a starter blanket to wrap around it to keep the heat from the exhaust manifold from it.

Justin, I agree with you on THAT engine. The 5SFE is a good, reliable engine. The VVTi isn't so much so, they constantly have problems (as compared to other model camrys)

Space, good to see you before your shift, that restroon should make you feel at home
Im not too sure I wanna know how to use the toilet though.

Dustin it is a 350. I do have coated headers so I would think the temps should be lower, but they were not that expensive, so who knows how good the coating is. I am heading out to my house to work a little here in a few, so hopefully it will start right up again.

Todd that's exactly what my saturn would do, some days it wouldn't start, go back out and it would crank right up, or some smacks would help, new starter generally run 30-40 bucks for the 350 just need to know side or botom bolt, and # of teeth on the flywheel, but if it's the original motor the parts store should come up with the right one easy,

pay day!!!!! Getting some pizza hut for dinner
this check was kind of nice, it's bonus check+OT+holiday so check was about 185 more than usual going to try to get some parts for the monte, some new wiperblades for the saty

Hey everybody. I'm posting on my cellphone. The forum is running very slow on my computer. I think it may have something to do with wikileaks declaring a net war. A lot of internet sites are either down, or running slow.

Welcome to the cellphone posters club, Taz. Its nice isn't it?

Todd, ceramic coating or not, i'd still wrap it. It never hurts to make the starter colder, unless you freeze it.

Congrats justin, I wish my work would give me a holiday check/ bonus.

Dustin, good advice.

Justin, I may just replace it to be sure. 175,000 miles on it, so it may be time to change it.
