Here is a quick pick of my new 17" rims + tires 225/55/R17 going to paint the brake calipers (orange) next week rotors (Silver) mat be black i have not decided yet

I say keep them how they are, they look great. The black wheel and everything is being way overdone. Just look like steelies from a distance / when driving anyway.

IMO seems like it would be a waste of your money and those nice rims you bought from SSmokeybear. Things look like they are factory new don't go and paint them! If you wanna start painting rims I'll trade you mine!

Yeah, OK understood but like Chibi said look like steelies a little too much. Since you have an extra set might be interesting to play with and try new ideas in photoshop... maybe reverse Earnhardt/Stewart ??? nah, maybe not. :p

You have any problem with putting the 17"s on? Fit OK, tire size make a diff? No beating on strut plates? Inquiring minds wanna know!

as long as you kept the tire size 225/55 and not 235/55 you shouldn't have any trouble with the rear strut plate

Don't paint your rims black. IMO it looks much better the way they are now.
