Chris, I have a garage full of books. They are well read, but not abused. VC andrews was one of my favorite authors as is danielle steele and james patterson. get her a few of those books and she'll be hooked. I also like john grisham and dan brown. maybe a bit out of her league tho....

Chris, my dad made me work for what i wanted. Makes me appreciate the small things in life that much more. My ex husband was the type that just had **** handed to him, and as a result he was the most irresponsible human being you would ever meet.

i hear you robyn, i always tell my daughter to say it is better to say "i would like to have" as opposed to "i want" when she makes lists of things she would like. thanks

Chris, the cheapest place I've found to get books is amazon sometimes you can get them used, and walmart sells them way below retail. A paperback danielle steele goes for like 7.99 and at walmart it's like 4.99. I've noticed we also don't have as many halfprice books places anymore? There was this huge one on mcknight road... I also like anything Sherlock Holmes... right now I'm playing Sherlock Holmes Vs. Jack The Ripper.... very interesting PC game!

Hey speaking of PC's... is anybody on here in need of a 17 inch flat panel LCD monitor?? If there's interest, I'll post a for sale...
