Hi all! Just found out that Silver is getting all brand new OEM parts from GM!!!! New hood, new bumper, new fender, new horns, new washer bottle, new coolant bottle, new emblem, and new headlight assembly. WOW I can't wait till it's finished. Because of the holiday I probably won't get him back until the Monday after Thanksgiving.

The motorcycle show was ok, not what we really expected. I was pretty much all new bikes, kind of like the car shows they usually have in January for all the 2010 (new year) models. So it was cool to see all the new stuff, but we were expecting a show of bikes people owned ranging in years/ cusomization etc.
The Goodguys show last weekend was awesome. I would have shared pics, but my camera batteries we dead, and I didnt know it till I got there. Anyway, great show, with a good combination of old cars, and new ones. There were a few Monte's, and lots of vette's, a few new Camaro's, Mustangs, Challengers, Chargers, you name it! Some of the older cars were just awesome how well they were rebuilt! There was a gorgerous 66 Vette that I could not stop looking at! And I am not being biased at all when I say this (seriously, my honest opinion here) I totally could have entered my Monte, and it would have been the best Monte Carlo at the show (as far as newer ones go). I was kinda disappointed the newer 6th gens there, non were all that nice. One of them did not even wash his engine bay. But there was a pretty nice 05 SS black, fully loaded that was really nice (this one was actually competition for my car, it was really nice!)
Anyway, I hope everyone is having a good Saturday!

Amy, that is AWESOME news! Trust me, you are going to be thrilled to death when you get it back! You'll have nice fresh paint, with no rock chips in the hood or bumper!
Thats good your getting all GM parts I insisted on nothing but genuine GM parts when mine was fixed, but apparently they use nothing but OEM at the shop I took it to anyway!
