lol i actually bought my monte to drive because i thought of how long it would take to free that other one from it's legal ties... and it turns out the legal ties were settled LONG ago, the lady was just being an a$$hole. there is about a 75% chance its gonna rot into the ground right where it sits, and a 25% chance it'll get junked for $50. but oh well, gives me an excuse to go hunt down a 4th gen

Today is a not-good day, now! My wife (who is OK) was driving her 05 Monte, and a bunch of people stopped short, and she swerved into the turn lane to avoid head on rear ending, and took out the passenger side front fender, bumper, and mirror, and wheel... tweaked the hood, too

Hey Toasty - I'm glad your wife is OK. Sorry to hear about the Monte. I was hit in a parking lot in Nov driving the 05. He took out the bumper, hood, passenger side fender, and headlight.

 

Hey, at least it's the passenger side, and the SLP CAI is fine!

Your wreck sounds just about exactly like what parts on ours will need fixing. I think the most expensive part will be the wheel... it's got the chrome 5 spoke/star, which run list price of over $700! That alone well surpasses the deductible. thankfully, it looks like the ground effects and front lip are still fine.

Wayne, we'll have it fixed up in no time. --however, it's an expensive way to have the few rock chips in the hood fixed!

 

My rim didn't get harmed thank god and the ground effect only needed paint. I'm never going to see my deductible either because I got hit by an illegal immigrant with no valid drivers license and cause it was on private property, no ticket was issued. The jerk was driving across the parking lot and hit me.

Yes, i really am at home today. Got the news yesterday as i was abuot to eat dinner. Nurse comes in and sex that my release papers are rea and if i was interested in going home. She even said that i could wait till i eat dinner. I told her to give me about 5 mins after she takes out the IV. I was eating and getting dressed at the same time. I even drove the rental care home myself.

Been spending the day with the family watching TV with Lisa and just hanging out. The foot is still swollen, but the Dr said to take Motrin and keep it elevated and it will go back to normal ( what ever that is. LOL).

Toasty, really sux about your wife. The good thing is that she is not hurt.
