my mom is doing better, only problem is she has to quit with the smoking! my sister and I will not buy them for her but the pharmacy where she gets her meds will deliver them to her, and there is absolutely nothing we can do about it!

Chris, when my mom first got diagnosed with lung cancer she quit right away - I don't know how she did it but she did. She might have gone on the patch.

Hey everyone!! I know it's so odd to see me on a weekend but I'm up at my parent's and a little bored.

at 8am today my dad and I decided to conquer the cat-back on my car. Put on my GMPP in the 16° weather... that wasn't fun at all!!!

Tomorrow I might throw on the LED tails. Sorry but I'm not gonna have any pictures or anything for a while. I wanna get everything done first before I unveil the new black night ride

I hope everyone is staying warm! Philly got 27 inches of snow!!! Good thing I'm up in the Poconos where we didn't even get a flake =O

thanks Amy, I just hope she can stop, it will not be easy especially if she can get cigarettes from the pharmacy and my sister and I can't make them not sell them to her!! I wish I could, but I can't

Montechick, that sounds a little scary. Glad you are back home.

Mike, you suck. I want pictures. lol Glad you are getting some work done.

Chris, you have a couple of options as I see it. First would be to switch any meds to another pharmacy. They wouldn't deliver just cigs would they? If you can't do that then I guess you could always picket the store with signs that say they are contributing towards the death of your mom. Sounds harsh, but I they don't have to legal sell to anyone as a private business so they could choose not to sell her cigs. Obviously that takes time and you have to make sure they could not sue you for slander/liable. I have seen people picket businesses here before. I really hope this opens your eyes and helps you decide to quit. I would hate for your daughter to go through what you are. I will be praying for your mom.

thank you Todd, I've thought about all sorts of things like picketing and I've heard many say that I should quit also! I know I should just for my sake and my daughters. Todd I appreciate all your great suggestions, you always have great things to say, you are truly a great friend here to all of us.

Amy mentioned being careful about shoveling snow and that is exactly what worries me, snow removal is the cause of many heart attacks this time of year and I would hate to be one of them!!
