KidSpace: good to see you can still access internet for a few more days. It's always pleasant reading your kind words in the morning.

Ryan: We'll be BBQing tonight for sure. Heading down to my brother's house in Dayton for a Memorial Day get together. Hamburgers and hotdogs and chicken and steak. Everything quintessentially American.

J.J. I slept in today, otherwise I would have made breakfast as well, coffee was waiting for me when I awoke. T is looking forward to grilling out tonight for sure, as am I.

Hope everyone has a great and fantastic Memorial Day weekend.

Now i'm just grilling up some hotdogs and relax for a while.

Matt, glad to see that you got some rest. I wish i could get some sleep. But it seems that during the week, i hate getting up early, but on the weekends, i am wide awake at 5 am.

Time to see about those dogs. I HUNGRY!!

I'm usually the same way J.J., and I actually did wake up several times much earlier than I would have liked to, but luckily I was able to get back to sleep

Human Being's having a difficult time returning from `Space
I am always amazed when I look in2 the skies & know
that we have brave talented people living `up in `Space.
I wish them a safe journey back to `Earth.
Below is the latest news on their return.

Mission control explained that weather around Kennedy Space Center is very dynamic with thunderstorms extending from the southeast near Bermuda to the northwest, going through the 30 nautical mile circle surrounding the Shuttle Landing Facility. There are some clear areas to the south which might, over time, move north, or may stay in place. Hey everyone, how's it going this weekend? I spent the day at the Lane Automotive show with my wife LadyT and RJ and his G/F. GREAT day! It hit mid 80's, and just a perfect day. Last year they had about 1,200 cars. This year the place was jammed full, with some cars parking on the opposite side of the drive from the show. Someone said 2,000 cars, but I'm guessing 1,500. Largest turnout ever.
I took 358 pics, just a fraction of the cars. I'll post a few here, but head over to the shows thread in the next few days for a more complete thread. I THINK I got pics of all the Monte's there, but it's hard to know for sure. I know I missed at LEAST 1, but probably more.
Here are some teasers pics, starting with the top pull of the weekend, 810 whp nova:

Our cars:

The silver '06 Vette parked next to Lucy was a Ligenfelter prepped blown LS.
How about a new Camaro SS from the Illinois Camaro club:

This is not a trophy show, just door prizes. One was season passes to Hartford Speedway, Michigan's fastest dirt 1/2 mile track, just up the road. Not sure what the others were. This is a free show, and everyone got a nice dash plaque, a Lane Automotive T-shirt, a free hat, stickers, pens, more stickers, and some stickers. Of course ALL the vendors had stickers, too. All the main vendors were there with their semis: Edelbrock, Comp Cams, Magnaflow, and many others. One of my favorite vendors is Classic Instruments. He ALWAYS has a fabulous display of his gorgeous gauges. He IS the best.
