Does your a/c still cool in those high temp's ?
My A/C doesn't seem to be up to par, I was just thinking that yesterday. Hopefully I don't have some wear on the system causing a slow leak. But if the weather keeps really hot and I need A/C I'll look into it haha. Right now for what little I drive the Monte, I don't see it being a problem.

Mine isn't up to par either. But I can wait on it, I see all the things/parts/components that make this a/c and I'm not in the mood to start replacing with trial and error. Taking a break from that for a while...Not even going to ask on this forum, lol. Oh yeah forum, my air isn't blowing cold.......I will get a million different answers and insults on my intelligence, lol.

Hi Mod `Mike,
My 05 & my 06 Monte had a difficult time cooling
when the temps were in the 100's ,
and they were both low miles maintained rides.
(Especially on Black Cars that seem to hold the heat)
Another price one pays to have a AweSome Black car
I found that if it's under cover or in a garage it
would cool down fast, but if it was left out in the sun
it was not to efficient & I would drive with the
windows down until the heat was released from
the inside interior...
That's a main reason I have been waiting to get another
Monte...I want a good garage to keep my ride in : )
Hope there's no problem with your air unit, and it's just
the intense heat of summer & owning a BLACK Monte : )

The A/C in my Monte works better than any other A/C system in all of the 5 vehicles in our house. At first its just ok, cool air. After about 10 min, it is FREEZING cold air. Your cheeks start to freeze from it. LOL.

My A/C works well, but my car has been running a bit hot, replaced almost everything, but it looks like the motor in my second fan has gone kaput, gotta replace it and hope that does it....

Also for everyone just check the radiators and such, make sure you don't have that gunky build up that is famous for our cars!

The 05's A/C works very well. I have no idea with the 03 since I don't use the AC that much in that car. I hope it does for the trip to Richmond!
