You guys ARE OLD!!!
LOL!!!
Look whose talking??? I started drive at the beginning of the 70's. 1st car was a '64 Impala SS. 37th year in my career as a tool & die moldmaker.
PUPS! ALL OFS YA! PUPS!
Evening all. My week that started in the crapper turned out pretty good all in all. To end the Friday, my transmission is back in. Not much else, but it's bolted to the block. YEAH!
Got 3 days off. Going to try to get the rest of the stuff bolted back in. Tomorrow night we're planning on going to the hot air balloon competition and military air show at Fort Custer tomorrow, Lift off at 6:30. They got an air show, too.

I have a question.
With all this talk about car shows and such, why is there never anything like that here in the West coast.
I know that people in PA are car crazy and love having activities with cars, but there is really nothing going on in this side of the States.
I wonder if i were to try an organize something, would people be interested in coming here. And if i do end up doing it, should i do it for GM only or open to all makes and models.
Just a thought.

JJ there used to be some great car clubs when I was down there, but they seemed to have fallen off. I was in the lvfbody association and we met every month and then they had a big las vegas invasion. Last time I was on the web site though things had fallen apart. Same with the mustang groups. I will be bringing the camaro down for you to see once it is up and running this fall.
Oh and here you go Chris.

that would be cool! just a little far for me??? is there any online carshow listings in your area? I remember being in california way back when and the cars out there were rust free and daily drivers, (camaros, elcaminos, rustangs etc) they seemed to be a pretty common thing out west! car shows in PA get good results due to the rarity of some cars around here is my guess!
Todd. Maybe if you can give me an idea when in the Fall, we can organize something here at one of the casinos. Its just a matter of talking to the managers.
Come to think of it, i think a member in another forum ( and S10 forum ), said he could get the use of the parking lot at one of the big outlet malls. It would just be a matter of me talking to him and knowing by when.
