Good day to you MCF members!! Heading home for a weekend today. We're supposed to be getting a mixture of snow and freezing rain over the next 2 days at home ,so I'll have to tread carefully this week just like I did coming back last week.
I feel bad for my roommate who is from Maryland. We came down on January 12th and he's been planning this as a go home weekend ever since. The only problem is they are calling for 12-24" of snow his way. Hopefully he can make it next week!!!

Snows will fall in portions of the Mid-Atlantic including the D.C./Baltimore areas Friday into Saturday. Snow totals well over a foot will be likely by Saturday evening within the Beltway.
Hope everyone's travels this morning went/are going well. Back home from work. Night shift -- better than being unemployed. So can't really complain.
We've been REALLY lucky here in the metro Detroit area. Very little snow so far this season. There's little to no snow on the ground right now. But still cold.
Hoping everyone who has to travel snowy and/or icy roads has a safe commute today!
