New ‘Ghostbusters’ Is Getting a Hyper-Reality Experience from The Void in New York City
So far there’s no images from what the inside of Ghostbusters: Dimension would be like, but there’s a video that was

In honor of the new Ghostbusters movie coming to theaters in July, a new hyper-reality experience from The Void is coming to New York City that will let fans suit up and catch some ghosts themselves.
The Void announced the new attraction, called Ghostbusters: Dimension, which will be open at Madame Tussauds New York. This will actually be the first project The Void has done that will be open to the public. If you don’t know what these kind of experiences are like, you can hit the jump to find out more about The Void Ghostbusters experience.
Here’s a preview of what an experience inside The Void would be like:
The Void announced the new attraction, called Ghostbusters: Dimension, which will be open at Madame Tussauds New York. The Ghostbusters world is the perfect fit with THE VOID because we literally strap our RAPTURE vest and gun on you and they turn into your proton pack and proton gun. You become a Ghostbuster, investigating an apartment filled with ghosts in a three player adventure, where hopefully you won’t destroy New York City.
Curtis Hickman, President of VOID Studios, added, “We’re using the same sounds, 3D models, and textures from the film to recreate a world where you’ll struggle to capture ghosts and cause an unbelievable amount of damage.” This sounds like it could be really fun. Surely some fans would rather experience the original Ghostbusters, but that’s probably not as easily possible since the effects fron the original movie needed to put this experience together aren’t easily available.
Ghostbusters: Dimension will be available in NYC staring on July 1st before the new movie hits theaters on July 15. If you need any more information, here’s the full press release from The Void:
In advance of the July 15, 2016 release of Ghostbusters, one of the most highly anticipated films of the summer, Sony Pictures, Madame Tussauds New York, Ghost Corps and THE VOID have teamed up to bring Ghostbusters to life like never before. The cinematic experience is brought to life with state-of-the-art technology, authentic props, costumes, a vehicle, gadgets and exclusive content designed to spook guests as they move through multiple scenes inspired by the film. After exploring the iconic Ghostbusters Headquarters, guests experience the epic finale, in which visitors take part in a ghost hunt of their own, saving New York City from a paranormal villain. This supernatural encounter will also include figures of the Ghostbusters crew from the new movie, all of whom are prepared to help visitors wage battle against nefarious paranormal activity.
In Ghostbusters: Dimension, developed by THE VOID in collaboration with Ivan Reitman, Paul Feig and Sony Pictures, audiences will experience what it is like to be a Ghostbuster, tracking and trapping a supernatural foe through a New York apartment complex in an environment that combines physical props and sets, real-time interactive effects, and virtual reality technology designed by THE VOID.

I heard of The VOID over a year ago and said "Oh, I so want to do that". Then I heard they were opening a "Ghostbusters Experience", that is one of my favorite fantasy worlds! I am completely interested in it. I already contacted Madame Tussauds to get some info, I think because it is so new and unique, they don't have much to provide at the moment. But they state it can run with a group of three people at a time. They also claim once it opens it is a permanent addition to their facilities.

I'm still working out the logistics of such a trip with other entertainment expenses this year. Plus, after it opens, I am curious about some reviews for the experience. I'd really love to do it.
