Well here it is March 2nd and I made it back from Texas, the best Gas was yesterday on the trip was in Oklahoma it was $1.98 for 87 reg.
not to bad other wise it had been $2.09 ish mad it home and it is $2.19 in Central NE.
I wore a T-shirt all day yesterday and ran the AC in the SUV until I got to Concordia, KS this is where Butch49 was from. At that town I needed a jacket.
Over nite here we got a skiff of snow but during the day it is now gone.
Good to be home and sleep in my own bed normally I am an early riser at 4:00AM or so and this morning it was 8:45AM when I woke up.
Hopefully I will get to hit a (u pull it) this week, and see what is going on there.

Well yesterday we went to Costco and purchased a new TV the old one the switch went out. So we found one a few inches bigger and I got it home and installed and it works great.
Fuel here was $2.17 per gal and it was in the mid 60's yesterday so not to bad overall.
Hoping to get the Monte Carlo out this week and drive it around the town.

Wow it's March 4th already good evening to everyone.
Today was really nice here in the mid 60's for sure I was T-shirtin it, windy though kept blowing my cap off, couldn't take it for a drive cause I had a low tire and to low to drive it anyplace to get air, tomorrow I will get a bubble tank so I can inflate it.
Plus the school was getting out at 2:00ish so now the crazy drivers were out too.
Like keep them in school when I was in school it was 3:30 pm.

Good afternoon guys. I may pull the Monte out this weekend to let it breath since the weather is looking very nice
What time do the schools start near you? I keep hearing them push for later start times so kids can get enough sleep. I mean, please. I think it really comes down to the kids and their parents being more responsible on going to bed early enough to get enough sleep, and that's especially helpful to get kids ready for their real job in the real world. When I was in school we started at 7:50 am (got out around 2:35 pm) and I usually woke up before 6 am. Everybody wants everything/everyone around them to conform to their needs/wants instead of adjusting their needs/wants to fit around their school and work schedule. We're creating a bunch of selfish, entitled people. It's nuts.

What is sometimes difficult to understand and we see it on FB is folks will make comments that have no punctuation and you just can't figure it out. They need ALEXA to make the post for them LOL.
Back in the 90's I was a 4H leader and I had an Archery group on Saturday Mornings. Usually 2 weeks before the start I had an informational meeting at the Library. I handed out the rules for the program Rule #1 was the parent or an adult had to be present during the shooting sports session. ( I caught the most flak on that one and 50% would drop out and never show. )
This tells me they were looking for a baby sitter! I didn't mind if they had to pick someone up from another event but they should be back.
I didn't want to discipline anyone I would get with the parent and have them do it.
But back tot he school thing I don't want to be on the road in town when school is getting out. It's too dangerous, and drivers ED is not what it was when I was in school.
Good morning guys.
It was a great weekend! Made it up to 45 degrees Saturday and 61 yesterday, sun both days! I did not get the Monte out yesterday as I thought I might as I was busy with other stuff around the house. I'm in the middle of painting the last bedroom and the guest bath (ceiling, trim, doors, walls) on the second level of our home which will finally complete the work on the second level. And then this spring I'm moving back outside to rebuild our deck.
