Depending on what track you run/race at the Officials have the last word...
Sounds to me people have different experiences at multiple tracks.....
I just know from my experience when I use to Race at the different tracks that use to be in the Detroit Metro Area..

I will ask that you find a site somewhere about common courtesies. There are a lot of rules that those run all the time just know and don't think to tell you. things like let the guy on the exit side at the ned of the track exit first or letting the faster cars stage before you turn on your lights.

If your low oil light is coming on by the time you're due for a change(meaning you're down 2 quarts) You need to either get that leak fixed or stay on top of your oil loss. I wouldn't want to run a car thats 2 quarts low, or low at all for that matter. You're not doing it any good.

I top it off if it comes on before i can get it in when it comes on i have a quart or limp it to pepboys for 5W-30 i go like 3 months/3,000 between changes Bottom line I am on top of it my uncle had bigger leaks in it before he parked it

Any issues whatsoever? I don't know... I'd check the oil when I get there, check it when I leave, and then call it a day... .since he knows exactly what the issue is and knows he has oil in it. He knows he isn't burning any, right?
