looking to go drag racing

so it looks like the first New England Dragway street night is the first week of April same week I turn 19. seeing as it's 29 miles from my campus i plan on hitting it up with some friends. Anyone know anything about the track or anything i need to do to Lola to be prepared. I've been wanting to do this for awhile. Anyone else going that week.

Not track specific but make sure you have no leaks, tires have pleanty of tread, you bring long sleeve shirt and pants, most tracks require a helmat even for slow cars, car is in decent condition not to break on the track, make sure bat is mounted correctly

is my very minor oil leak ok?

tps221 02-25-2013 05:28 PM

will my minor leak prevent them from letting me race

STUMPMI 02-25-2013 05:35 PM

you may... be able to race...if you use a diaper on it....(if they still allow them)

Otherwise no...

Why not just fix the oil leak?
Then it becomes a NON issue....

If you're leaking anything they won't let you run. The slightest spot of oil on the track will ruin anyone running with slicks.

its a rear main seal leak aka engine has to be pulled to fix it and i do not have the 300-400 and my mechanic said it isnt worth it because it doesnt get to turning on the low oil light til like oil change time.

when he does it im having him upgrade every single gasket he can i swear to god

Use simple green & clean it all up before you go to track then they may let you race because they won't know it's leaking..:rotfl:
