Looking for Dad's old chevy

Looking for my Dad's old 1955 chevy was on cover of 1962 custom rodder.He sold it 1963
He last saw chevy back in the 70s ..At County speed shop..St.Louis MO.

EDIT:A coworker told me today he saw an write up in Super Chevy Mag.about my dad's car . But he can't find it . Did anybody see the write up in Super Chevy. ???

Nice, hot on the trail. Just call the guy he sold it too and keep working up.

My Dad can't remember who he sold car to back in 1963 , He remembers seeing car for sale at county speed shop back in 70's , that speed shop is closed down...

Someone has to have records. Any idea who owned it? You could call that person.

This is a long shot...

Any chance he still has an old registration..with a vin on it?

If so you could always carfax it...maybe you could get a location on it like a City or state?

Maybe an old license plate...and go to the secretary of state for a history? Maybe if they come up with anything...ask them if....theyd be willing to contact the current owner to contact you?
