The only way it should affect your insurance is if your insurance has to pay for it. In this case the kid hit your car and it would be the other kids insurance that would have to pay for it, but you would still have to talk to your company about it. Absolutely make a police report because who knows the next time the kid may do it, and if he/ she is that bad of a driver they may in the end lose their licence for repeat offence's. Don't feel bad about reporting this to the police if you have to just think about Lola <3

Michigan's insurance laws suck I got hit by an uninsured driver while legally stopped and I have to pay if I want my car fixed. Luckily I didn't have bad damage. I hope your state is different. Also if a accident happens on private property like a parking lot the police wont make a report of it. You may want to get some estimates and go to the responsible party and see if he just wants to pay for it on his own. If he pays its a good way to keep the premiums down.

Sorry 2 read that your Lola got `hurt on your last day of school.
I would make sure that you can get a picture from your schools security camera.
- Get the students name & license plate # of his ride.
- Call your insurance agent (company) & give them a detailed report of incident + submit pictures to them of your damage.
- Make a police report of the incident: Date/estimated time/any witnesses etc.
- Get several estimates on damage or ask your insurance company what is needed.

Don't get your gang 2gether & seek retaliation by taking a sledgehammer to his Toyota ~> That's what I'd like to `do, but it's not worth risking your freedom by an arrest for being stupid

Please advise your Monte Carlo Family on how things work out...Wish you good Luck & wish you congratulations on your future graduation...
What's your plans after graduation ?

p.s. Find a good body shop for repairs (do your homework on the shop you will take your Monte to) GOOD LUCK
