Default A little piece of monte...

Well when I went home last weekend I got to see an update on my father's 38 plymouth coupe. Hes been working real hard on getting all the body work done. I thought it was funny when he told me his latest addition to it. Focus your attention on the roll pan. Does the shape of the holes he cut look familiar?

Yes, those are 6th gen monte decklid third brakelights going in for tail lights. I lol'ed when I saw that. Its a pretty good idea, they look nice in there and fit the shape of the body well. Just a little piece of monte breaking up the mopar monontony.

So there's a couple 6th gen Montes in the neighborhood missing some parts? :p

Keep your eye's on your 5th gen Matt. You never know what may catch his eye.

Just kidding.

Nice progress so far. Can't wait to see the finished product!

I believe I have posted pictures of the chassis on here before but Im not sure. Its got a 360 w/340 heads, auto trans and airbags on all four corners. Its all done and waiting for the body. The body should be ready for a good coat of primer before the end of this year. Its a slow process because he has been doing it for the most part by himself and he has also been working on other peoples cars. I will be sure to keep you guys posted with the progress but dont expect anything significant for a while. Maybe if I find a job close to home I will be around to help him out and it will get done a little faster.

Very cool Matt! My fiance's friend restored a 57 Chevy Nomad as kinda a resto mod and he used the 3rd brake light from a Cadillac and it looks really cool
