Tell me about it - I'm not trying to give you a hard time. Actually about an hour ago I was out working on some Christmas lights and ended up seeing a kid tear *** around a wet corner and roll his car into the ditch, landing on the drivers side - had to go help pull him out of the car. Definitely a lot more responsibility behind driving a car than most people think about.

I hate seeing the beginning of videos like this, the cop flying down that road like that was way more dangerous than anything that I saw prior to that - that's not needed, they have a radio, use it.

Too many "What ifs" in these situations...

Glad there were no other injuries. Both vehicles were being operated at extremely excessive speeds, the officer of course with more training I would hope, but still. They had the plates, I'm sure all of the surround areas were notified to keep an eye out. But who knows what kind of the damage the Cav driver could have caused if the officer wouldn't have chased him down? Could have made it to his destination safely, and been more intrigued to do it again. Or he could have taken innocent lives... never know.

After a couple of minutes it just began to seem like there was way too much risk for reward IMO.

I think chases are dangerous but I don't think they can just let everybody who runs go free. Nobody would ever stop. I'm glad nobody was seriously injured and hope they prosecute this guy to the fullest extent of the law.

If the cop didn't go after him he probably wouldn't have run... lol

There's no need for the cop to risk more people's lives by flying down the road pushing the cavalier to go faster yet.
