Hi R.J.
I think the Judge(s) must have been Stoned or Drunk
to have missed your AweSome Monte Carlo

Was it Judge `Judy ?
Just because it was Church function, doesn't mean
that they were in their `Right State of Mind ~* LOL

We all think your Monte's are Winner's
EnJoy your Trophy & next time get the Judges a bag,
a keg, or a case or $'s...

Car shows are always like that. There always seems to be something wrong with the judging. Friends of the people hosting it win, if it's a church show, the church goers win, if ti's a car club, they're members win.... all the Chevies win, all the Fords win, all the Dodges win...

Heck I was at a show in '08 when the Challengers were coming out. The guy who owned the Dodge dealership in town brought one of them out with a dealer tag 2 hours after registration was closed, about 30 minutes before trophy time, and he won best modern car. At the same show, the same truck has won best of show 3 years running. And a lot of modern cars win the big stuff.

It's enough to just say "F IT" to car shows and just drive the cars and go to cruise ins.

Now was your sticker hard to see? Was the hood blocking it? Was it a show of mostly classics and they didn't think a modern car was entered? Maybe they were judges for classic cars and separate judges were supposed to judge the modern cars?

THREAD HIJACK

Duane, you know HW has a white Talladaga Torino out? I saw a handfull of them last night and thought of your car.

This show has a new car class. And they seem to like the Pace car well enough the past two years. Sure judges can change as well as judging styles. Nothing says your car will win. (well unless you're friends with the judges)

Debbie pointed out maybe the sticker announcing the car ready for judging was hard for them to see behind the hood? I had it stick in the "A" pillar on the driver side. So maybe this lead to the car not getting judged?
