Just curious new NASCAR
Just curious, why is Chevy running the full size Impalla SS with a bunch of mid sized cars? Ford isn't racing the Taurus it's racing the focus. Dodge just downgraded from the Charger to the Avenger and Toyota - I have nothing to say about that. Why isn't Chevy running the new Maibu? I just saw a commerical for it and it looks pretty cool and sporty.

I don't know, I was just wondering.

...for 06-07, the Impala is nothing more than a 4 door Monte Carlo....
....so what is a 2-door Impala if it is not a Monte Carlo?

RE: Just curious new NASCAR
The race I saw last week, the one Jeff Gordonwon, I saw both Chevy's. Some drivers were running the new Impala SS cars, while others were still running their Monte Carlo's.
Isn't there a rule that says they have to drive a model that is in current production? This would mean drivers like Dale jr could still drive his Monte until the end of the 2007 racing season, then have to switch to the Impala.?

i'm sorry taz... i didn't see any monte carlo's last week. i must have missed that. all of these points kind of raise another question....
sense the COT makes all of hte cars the exact same anyway, Ford, Chevy, Dodge or Toyota, why does it matter what stickers are put on it?
