I work at an atuomotive paint store selling everything from frame pullers down to touch up brushes. I even made my own color that i plan on using on my MC, which i have the only copy to the formula.
ORIGINAL: Taz
What color? Not asking for the formula, but can we see a pic of it? Or maybe even describe it?

Its more of a candy/pearl color. Its painted over a whitebase and will change colors depending on the line of veiw and the light outside. In direct sunlight its a light blue. In indirect sunlight its a rich purple or a royal blue (depending on the angle you are looking at it). at night its almost black untill you hit it with headlights and the blue comes to life.
I never got to finish it cause i moved my family out here and money was way different then back in LA.
Just for the record, i have been working in the paint biz for 4 years now. almost 4 in Ca, and now 3 months here in OKC.
