Seattle lost a legend yesterday morning. Chris Wedes - known to Seattlites as J.P. Patches - died yesterday morning after a long battle with cancer. His show was the first live show broadcast by one of the local TV stations. As a child I started my mornings sitting in front of the TV watching his show, and remember rushing home from school so I wouldn't miss his afternoon show. As hilarious as his show was, he always stressed an underlying theme of good character and moral integrity.

R.I.P. Chris, you will be missed by many.
